Women's Assistant Coach: Erin Kinzer

Erin Kinzer

Coach Kinzer's Comments:

"Soccer was an important part of my life for a very long time. I grew up participating in numerous sports in northwest Florida. I earned a soccer/academic scholarship to Southern Methodist University (Div.I) in Dallas, TX. When I finished college, the U.S. had not formed its women's professional league yet, so I moved to Stockholm, Sweden to continue my soccer career with Huddinge I.F. After three seasons, I ended up having knee surgery. While training to return to Sweden almost two years later, I sustained another knee injury and decided to start coaching instead. This will be my tenth year coaching high school soccer. I have also coached competitive club (travel) soccer for girls ages 12 -18 years. Additionally, I was the assistant coach for the University of West Florida's women's team for three years while pursuing my Master's degree."
