The US National Soccer team for the deaf is on the Gulf Coast this week.

The team was in Orange Beach taking on the Perdido Bay Futbol Club's U-17 team for an exhibition. Players on the team have an average hearing loss of 55 decibels or more in their best ear.

The players have to take off all hearing aids before matches. The team is tuning up for the 2009 Deaflympic games in Taiwan in September.

Unlike many other countries this team doesn't receive much financial aid and that makes it more difficult to train.
